2024 — Newbie Guide Welcome to Valrise Gaming!   This guide will help you set sail in the world of Valrise!   Upon creating your character and logging into the server, you will arrive at Los Santos Airport, where you'll await registration approval by our staff members. A common mistake new players make is forgetting to save their name in the launcher, so make sure not to overlook that step! Once you pass the registration process, you’ll be free to explore the world, but where should you start? Your priority should be to gather the essentials. For the first thirty minutes of playtime, you won’t be able to obtain a passport or driver’s license. Take this time to explore the server and familiarize yourself with the commands. You can access important server information by typing /help.   Upon reaching level one, you’ll be able to acquire a passport and driver’s license. Start by visiting City Hall at Pershing Square. Once inside, type /cityhall or go to the yellow icon at the desk. After obtaining a passport, head to the DMV near Alhambra in Little Mexico. Behind the building, you’ll find parked white vehicles, step into one to begin your exam. You have many job choices, and your future is in your hands. If you want to help the city by fighting crime on the streets, you can become a police officer. You’ll need to reach level 4 before you can take the police exam at LSPD. To advance in your police career, apply on the government forums (forum.sagov.us), which is the only way to become an official police officer or other government worker.   Of course, there are plenty of other job options! Popular choices include miner and trucker. To become a trucker, visit any of the delivery locations on the map, where a blue icon allows you to get the job. This applies to all publicly accessible jobs. Get a truck, load supplies at the "loading bay" marked in red, and you’re set. If you enjoy hard work and exploration, check out the mining job at Hunter Quarry. Once inside the mine, a post will greet you, allowing you to equip yourself with job essentials. Follow the tunnels to locate mining areas, and remember to mark your path to avoid getting lost. When done, pack up and head to the factory in Blueberry to sell your resources.   The city also needs doctors and emergency workers, so you can become one yourself by visiting All Saints Hospital in Market. As a medic, you’ll save lives of citizens and fellow players in need! To become an official doctor, apply on the government forums. Use /treat or /revive to treat patients, and if a player is in the back of your ambulance, you can use /heal.   If you prefer to keep the city clean and enhance residents’ quality of life, consider the maintenance job. You can drive a sweeper to clear road debris or work as a garbage collector, collecting trash from red bins across the map. Press the left mouse button to pick up trash and "Y" to dump it. Once your truck is full, return to the junkyard and press "N" to empty it.   The underworld of Valrise is substantial, offering various ways to produce illegal substances, acquire illegal weaponry, and more.
