Thank you for all the applications! We have already begun with the first wave of interviews, please make yourself available within the next 24 to 48 hours. Make sure your phone is turned ON as our administrative specialists are trying to reach you. If we are unable to contact you, you will be automatically denied. The United States of America Space Administration has increased the limit of the astronauts that will be flying to the Moon to FOUR individuals. That is mainly due to the efforts of our scientists and engineers who have managed to create extra capacity inside the rocket itself.  We will be seeing you all at the interviews, best of luck to all!

Signed,
CEO of Barracuda Research Corp,
Doctor Maxim Lazovsky

All the applications have been handled. Out of 27 received applications, we have accepted only 25,92% of them. That means we will welcome 7 new workers and amongst those 7 are the 4 astronauts that will be flying to the moon on 28th of June. Welcome on-board! You will be contacted and set up into our system and handed the employee contract agreements.

Those who were not picked this time, please keep an eye on the website for another wave of openings in the future!

Signed,
CEO of Barracuda Research Corp,
Doctor Maxim Lazovsky

OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING MASA-1 CRASH

XrzNe7p.png

On June 21st, at 19:22 CET there was a test launch of the newest MASA-1 X1 rocket which will fly astronauts to the moon. Fortunately the rocket was unmanned at the time. The test was unsuccessful due to sabotage by the Bone County Resistance. At 19:28 CET the rocket launch control systems were overridden by the satelite at Big Ear which has now been confirmed that belong to the Bone County Resistance. BCR took control of the rocket and started the initiation process and launched the rocket remotely from their base. That resulted the rocket to crash intentionally or not at the Idlewood region. We have taken counter-measures to ensure that this will not happen again and the bureau has offered their help!

Spoiler

We immediately tried to send out city-wide audio warnings through speakers and the communication system that Los Santos possesses. Unfortunately, we could not do it in a timely manner which resulted in the death of two civillians and multiple households destroyed.

19:30 CET the rocket hit the city of Los Santos and the Idlewood region. SAFMD and SAPD were immediately dispatched alongside the FBI and the Barracuda Research investigative units and patrols.

We have determined the spread of the contamination from the fuel and other toxins and the civillians in the area have been re-located until it is safe. Work to remove and free the public access roads began immediately and the SAFMD were instructed by the Research facility to keep cooling the rocket using their firetrucks and eqeuipment in order for us to get closer to the rocket to recover data and the necessary parts for the investigation.

The launch that will carry four astronauts to the moon has been pushed to take place on the 5th of July, 2020 due to the crash. Information regarding the official launch will be issued shortly.

We wish to thank our brave SAFMD and SAPD employees for their fast and efficient work! Our hearts are with whose lives were tragically lost at the crash and we wish that the other victims would get well soon!

zmzucwj.pngThe day we all have been waiting is getting closer and closer! The official launch of MASA-1 rocket on-board with 4 brave astronauts will take place on the 5th of July, 2020 at 1800 hours! The Barracuda Research Corporation alongside with USA Space Administration has been working day and night and after a failed test-launch we are sure that all the errors have been fixed and we will have boots on the moon!

Barracuda Research bus will be picking up civillians to witness the launch. The route is following: 17:30 - 17:40 Los Santos City Hall -> 17:43 - 17:45 Palomino Creek -> 17:50 - 17:55 Fort Carson, Bone County -> Launch site. A good opportunity to catch a ride and witness history being made in person!

We regretfully received contact from the government on 02-07-2020 that a MASA rocket crashed in the Idlewood vicinity of Los Santos at 23:45. Units were dispatched to the scene immediately to contain the damage and minimise loss of life. Barracuda worked tirelessly through the night to make the rocket safe, and alongside SAPD were able to minimise casualties.

We can confirm that Barracuda, working on behalf of MASA, did not launch the rocket at this time. There are a limited number of individuals with remote launch capability, so we are looking into the following possibilities:

- Accidental launch by an authorised party

- Purposeful launch by an unauthorised party

Rest assured the incident is being investigated. In the meantime, our Scientists have been able to retrieve telemetry data from the rocket that will be used prior to the official launch on 5th July 2020 to help ensure mission success. In the interests of transparency, the arrival of Barracuda on scene, and the work in the area, was recorded and is available as a part of public record below.

Signed,
Lead Scientist at Barracuda Research,
Agent 007.

MASA-1 PRESS RELEASE #BootsOnTheMoon

On July 5th, 2020 at 18:24 CET the MASA-1 rocket was launched. We are proud to announce that our launch was a success! Astronauts have touched the surface of the moon and have commenced their first moon-walks as well!

WWtBrj3.png

We are soon able to share video footage of the discoveries that have been made. As tradition in MASA, the astronauts had the opportunity to name the rocket that they were travelling with. The space crew decided that the rocket shall henceforth be known as MAZIKEEN.

Astronaut Ben Blake was the first from the crew to step onto the moon. So far the crew has sent us back vital information regarding its nature and habitation possibilities.

Barracuda Research Corporation alongside with the Space Administration plans to build a complex of pressurized tents on the Moon to be able to offer civillians the possibility to travel to the Moon. Information regarding travelling possibilities will be released soon.
