CHALLENGES AROUND THE CORNER

What challenges await the Governor to be elected in November 11? Buzz Times lists the most concerning ones

Jester Dupont - BT Editor | CHALLENGES AROUND THE CORNER

This state had multiple governors, vice-governors as acting governors and interim committees throughout the entire year, in a piss poor sequence of political scandals, impeachments and general disrespect for the public office. This has, inevitably, left a variety of problems to go unchallenged, allowing mishanded [or simply unhandled] issues to reach alarming levels. Buzz Times lists the priority ones - those the people of San Andreas expect to see the newly-elected incumbent to strongly target from day one in office.

#1 - RAMPANT CRIME RATES

For long, the law-abiding people of San Andreas has been learning to deal with crimes being committed in the open, anywhere, anytime. Hotspots such as Ganton or Idlewood, slum-based territories in the city have been accounting for about 70% of the crimes in Los Santos. Crimes vary: from cold-blooded homicide to robbery, vehicle theft, drug dealing, leaving our citizens sleepless.

#2 - MILITIAS IN THE COUNTIES

Footage retrieved from the self-proclaimed "Forest Brothers Resistance" page, with fierce militants blocking the tolls to Flint County, sieging territory.

With the rise of a recent militia, labeled "Forest Brothers Resistance", claiming Flint County, this state now harbours two terrorist groups in distinct parts of the map. The federal government claims the Bone County Resistance has been crushed and their leaders gone into hiding, as a recent visit by a US Senator tried to prove us everything is now roses there. However, recent reports from locals indicate that they still operate in the area, though in limited number. The most recent threat comes from the south: a paramillitary group with separatist traits threatens Flint County and it's inhabitants. For how long are we gonna let these terrorists siege our people and challenge our order?

#3 - WHERE ARE THE GOODS?

The coronavirus crisis has proved San Andreas has a chronic problem with goods distribution. Masks and hand sanitizers quickly ran out of stock in stores all over the state within days, when people mostly needed them. It is usual for food commodities such as meat, soy and wheat arrive with considerable delay in our factories. Are we not valuing our truckers enough? Do we need to look for other methods to redistribute goods around the state?

#4 - LACK OF TRUST IN THE GOVERNMENT

This one couldn't go unexplained. In an endless crisis, we do not blame our citizens for lacking the trust in the government and it's capability in the aforementioned problems, along others. This paper hopes our next governor is someone we can aspire to see.

Comment: Law Enforcement Agencies are not doing anything efficient to control this chaos. They have power, they have money, they have support and more on; but still everyday a militia raises. They have fighter helicopters, jets, armored vehicles, tanks and even missiles, but still we see groups who challenge the government and the safety of the citizens easily. I hope someone from @FBIor @US Congressor @SA Governmentwill answer us as soon as possible.
