PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

STATE LEGAL COUNSEL OFFICE

December 1st, 2020

The FBI has been made aware of instances where citizens are being approached by men with government identification cards on their clothes, and in certain instances driving black colored FBI ranchers. The men tend to identify themselves as Legal Counsel employees from the State Government.

The Bureau would like to clarify to the citizens that they are not obligated to attend any questioning unless they are voluntarily accepting to participate, or are either detained or arrested by the recognized law enforcement agencies. There are currently three recognized law enforcement agencies, the San Andreas Police Department, Sheriff Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

It is also worth noting that during any lawful questioning, you have certain rights. First and foremost, the right to remain silent to avoid further incriminating yourself, and the second is the right to an attorney who shall be appointed to you if you cannot afford one yourself.

Therefore, if you are being asked to attend an interview or some sort of questioning by any other body than the aforementioned law enforcement agencies, you should be fully aware that the attendance to such is completely voluntary.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

GENERAL UPDATES

February 10th, 2021

The FBI would like to start off by congratulating the newly inaugurated Governor Sam Woods for winning the election and becoming the new Governor of the San Andreas State. The FBI looks forward for close cooperation with the Governor's office in providing aid where possible. The San Andreas State has an increase in criminal activity involving violence and narcotics. The FBI hopes that the newly inaugurated Governor will help the San Andreas Police Department grow their manpower and better their ability to enforce the law.

There are certain topics circulating in the media these days about newly established agencies such as the "Drug Enforcement Administration" and the "Gangs and Narcotics Division". The FBI has no comments to make on these agencies as they are not recognized law enforcement agencies by the Government. Until recognized as such, they will be treated as any other privately established organization. If found conducting law enforcement activities in the meantime, the perpetrators will be apprehended for vigilantism and processed further based on circumstances.

Lastly, in the last month, the FBI has seized a total of 48,323 grams of weed, 14,503 grams of heroin and 37,555 grams of methamphetamines. This totals up to 100,381 grams of narcotics seized in one month.

The FBI continues to conduct numerous operations with the aim to collect intelligence from criminal organizations, apprehend and prosecute the heads of these criminal organizations and disrupt the production and trafficking of narcotics in the San Andreas State.

For any inquiries from the media or the citizens, you can submit your inquiries here.

HOSTAGE RESCUE OPERATION

September 9th, 2021

The FBI's Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) conducted a hostage rescue operation on September 9th, 2021 at approximately 20:15 CET. The President of the United States was briefed on the operation at around 15:45 CET. The goal of the operation was to rescue Vice Governor who was being held captive inside the makeshift shelter used by the Liberational Movement of San Andreas.

The operation was executed by ten HRT operators with two helicopters. The timing of the operation was set to minimize the risk of a hostile confrontation with the militants and increase the chance of a rescue without casualties from either side. The HRT used explosive ordinance weapon to gain access to the shelter where the Vice Governor was being held captive. The operation took five minutes from takeoff at Los Santos to arrival at San Fierro with the hostage rescued.

The FBI compliments the bravery and the organization presented by its Hostage Rescue Team and all the operators who participated in the mission.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

GOVERNOR INAUGURATION

September 26th, 2021

On the 26th of September, 2021 at 17:00 the inauguration of Governor Phoenix Oberoii took place. The FBI, along with its partners - the San Andreas Police Department and its Special Weapons and Tactics Division, participated as security detail for the ceremony. Quickly after the ceremony began, attacks have been conducted by the Liberational Movement of San Andreas and Grove 6th Families along with additional smaller groups.

The FBI has successfully evacuated the Governor from the area to safety without harm. SAPD's SWAT team successfully repelled the attacks and defended the City Hall with help of the heavy units involving a Rhino tank, Hydras and Hunters. After about 30 minutes more or less, the attacks have ceased as the law enforcement units at Pershing Square cautiously neutralized the targets one by one.

In the process, the FBI has taken down one of the attacking Rustler planes, whilst the SAPD's SWAT has taken down a second one. It is estimated that the offenders invested a larger number of resources into this attack which failed to achieve its goal of assassinating or kidnapping the newly inaugurated Governor.

The FBI's counterintelligence and intelligence gathering operations behind the scenes majorly contributed to the success of this security detail as it provided the FBI necessary information to prepare appropriate plans and countermeasures for the attack that was planned.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

IMPERSONATORS

October 24th, 2021

The FBI is hereby issuing a public notice to the citizens of San Andreas State relating to cases of impersonation actively ongoing. The Liberational Movement of San Andreas (LMSA) uses individuals dressed in business attire (suits or general formal clothing) to impersonate members of the FBI.

These individuals attempt to lure citizens, mainly individuals who hold high positions in the state or federal government, into captivity. Therefore, the FBI urges citizens to not trust any individuals who claim to be members of the FBI if they have not presented you their official FBI badgeThe real FBI agents will always present their badge to those who they are attempting to apprehend.

This is how the badge of an official FBI agent looks like:

Spoiler

If the individuals who approach you claim to be FBI and refuse to present their badge, or their badge does not look like this - beware they are impersonators and you should immediately call 911.
