Yeah, I ran over the guy, yeah I left it out the video. I ran him over because he was talking shit in /p as you can see in the video, I can get more of his logs or you can check for yourself what he was saying. I was driving away when Vinny tells me he was shooting us and I then saw the bullet hit the car. I turn around and approach him. I get out the car, he's dead and I shoot his dead body. I then get banned for DM in a safezone. I shot his dead body. I'm not sure if you're aware, but valrise isn't 100% realistic. It's not heavy RP. SWAT wouldn't storm a hostage situation without negotiating and shoot him down to half hp in real life and SWAT don't get banned for that. Here's a story which happened in the UK (guns are very rare here) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54293111 police officer shot dead in a custody center. We didn't hunt him down. It was 6vs1, he shot our car, it's fucking Valrise you're playing for fuck sake, cut the standards (no offence) of course we're going to kill him. At what point could I have reported him? Even if my intention was to report him, let's say I went back to him to view his name, the entire situation would have been the exact same as I didn't even fucking shoot him. Okay, so for this reason I get banned for DM? Because there is someone standing on my car shooting? I can't speak for Vinny, but Vinny aiming at him fast means I get banned? I'm not sure why this is my problem honestly. Yes, I ran him over, he then shot us, we then killed him. It was mostly OOC but the volunteer kept crying and Matthew was spectating us constantly waiting for any reason to ban, if he didn't shoot the car, I wouldn't have turned around. I would also like to say thanks to Jones whatever the outcome of this is to give me a chance to give my side of the case instead of asking questions and closing the ban appeal at the same time. From my perspective: I ran him over due to OOC insults, yes I admit that isn't allowed and I understand. He then fires at my car, I turn around and approach him. He's shot dead (not by me) I get out the car and shoot his dead body. I get banned for DM in safezone.

DM in safezone Personal comment We had killed a volunteer previously and he was flaming us in /p. We were driving around afterwards having a jolly little argument in global chat where we came across him again and he decided to open fire. We retaliate and kill him, obviously as we have like 8 people. I understand it isn't very clear that he shot first, however you can check logs, you can also see he's crouched shooting when I turn around. In the case of mine and Antonio, by the time we shot he was already dead.

Copbaiting Personal comment Hello I'm very sorry for cop baiting, it was not my intention. We were driving around for 20 minutes trying to find something to do when I see a rancher so I follow it for a short duration to see where it was rushing to. Whilst I was tailing the rancher, he forces me off the road into a lamp post which made me want to ask him why he rammed me off the road. However I started chasing him as you see in the video to which he was clearly trying to run away and wouldn't face any confrontation from me. He then turned his police sirens on which I then turned around and tried to leave the area once I realised it was a law enforcement member. To which then Martin told me I was getting punished for cop baiting. Then I get temporarily banned for two whole days for the sole reason of being rammed of the road by a rancher then following them to ask what the motivation behind the attempted murder was. I believe this punishment was without proper grounds as I had no intention to cop bait. If I wanted to fight the cops I could've fought the SWAT that were chasing me around 30 minutes previous to that incident. I had no intention of cop baiting and was genuinely curious as to why the driver thought it would be acceptable to ram me off the road, then to my surprise was an FBI agent undercover with a mask to my surprise. I don't know why he thought it would be acceptable to try murder everyone in the car, especially my friend who was riding on the back of the truck who could've been seriously injured. Now I personally think this has been a huge overreaction and misunderstanding and would appreciate if this ban could be removed as I was excited to what my prizes for the Halloween trick or treat event would be. But this has really ruined my weekend and would appreciate if this punishment could be removed and I could be given another chance as it really wasn't my intention to cop bait or do anything against the rules as I was trying to be on my best behaviour to attempt to re-acquire my group back in two weeks. The previous day I was RPing with many people however today I was really struggling to find any RP opportunities at all so I tried to engage one with whoever was in the rancher but instead I just get banned because of course FBI don't want to RP and just ban for cop baiting instead. I think there is a serious problem with the way law enforcement engages with people on this server however that isn't really the point of this ban appeal. Also if you're going to argue that all FBI rancher are FBI members, that simply isn't true as I've personally driving a black FBI rancher that is exactly the same before that was played owner that had police sirens also. Anyway here is the video of the full incident. As shown in the video it wasn't necessarily obvious that the rancher would be law enforcement and could've been solved easily by stopped and actually engaging with people which PD, SWAT and FBI don't see to do. However typically FBI I feel like they have a much better history of RPing however recently they seem to be ruining any respect I had for them by employing idiots that hate RP. All in all, I believe I should be unbanned as I was enjoying my time on the server and trying my best to rebuild the Spagerolli group and maintain good activity. I was trying to get a lot of hours playing on the weekend as I work 9 to 5 during the week so I cannot play as much. My friends are also now sad as we cannot all play together and have to play a different game or different server which we don't want to do as Valrise is our favourite place to play and RP whenever we can, we understand it's hard for a lot of people to RP but whenever we get the chance to we take it and make the most of it. As an example yesterday I met someone called Hardman which I had never spoken to before and he had great RP skills and I was having a good time until unfortunately the Spagerolli group got deleted mid RP which then forced everything inside the storage to be deleted as well as the group points and vehicles which essentially ruined the whole RP for me as I was going to attempt to recruit him into the group to try improve activity as that was the groups main problem and sole reason it was deleted in the end. So yeah I was really trying to improve wherever possible and trying to avoid any punishments and make the server a better place to play as I personally really enjoy it and think it could be a great community with some little tweaks. It's just unfortunate that some admins have a bad impression of Spagerolli and ever since they spectate us constantly and take other people's side in any story or argument. I can understand how this looks like it was cop baiting however I can assure you that it was not. If he didn't ram me into the lamp post I wouldn't have continued to follow him any further as it was clear to me at that point he wasn't doing anything interesting. I was really excited to do the pumpkin hunt tonight and would appreciate if I could get unbanned to play it and receive whatever prizes I may win as currently I'm doing very well on both the in game pumpkins and discord pumpkins. Anyway thanks a lot for reading this and hopefully it can show my true dedication to Valrise and prove that I didn't mean any ill will by the action that I done.

Okay, he was a cop for months, didn't get banned, soon as he's a criminal he gets banned, make your own conclusion then if you want. Correct me if I'm wrong, but being a descriptive roleplay in my opinion would generally mean you're a good roleplayer. I mean, again look at my previous argument, keybinders are perfectly acceptable on heavier RP servers.

That robbing bind was pretty good whilst it lasted, either way would you rather a /me pats or a CTRL R with a competent frisking line. If you care so much about binds, what about cops, fbi, swat, hrt?

Alright I already replied to all of these in more detail, I edited my previous post but it got deleted when I posted it, here's the short version. There was no opinion, I only said facts. I never said he shouldn't have been banned. If this is the type of RP you expect from players, then that's fine. Obviously not my choice, just got the impression staff are trying to push a higher RP standard. The player was more experienced than me, doesn't matter though, shows that punishments aren't equal.

You are literally wasting your time shit talking me here, wouldn't it have been smart to reply to the ban appeal that was meant for you? It's it pretty much common sense, in fact, I believe that is actually a rule. The point I was making was showing how little effort you put into roleplaying, the very small amount of time you could exchange any sort of RP lines with me, you do the bare minimum to avoid breaking the rules.

Why can't I judge your RP? You gunna ban me for that too? Also on the note of cruisers, it's a fucking joke how many police cars are left everywhere, they need respawned every 10 minutes or they block every road.

For the same reason that I got permanently banned for, I know someone who has been warned for the exact same thing. Then the guy that banned me doesn't even have the decency to reply to my ban appeal, someone who wasn't even involved or has any concept of what actually happened replies instead (Sam Woods) which then accuses me of straight lies and doesn't reply to the majority of my points. Maybe there's a video of what happened, then fair enough but something tells me there probably isn't. If there is however, please send me it. Another example of a problem is with Anthony Hofstader, he's been in PD for as long as I can remember, he becomes a criminal, within the second week he's banned for name tagging, I know staff aren't specifically banning criminals but it shows the clear focus on catching criminals vs cops. If you're really trying to push actual RP, get your staff up to scratch. When I see this type of RP, it puts me off putting any effort into it ever. Then you have the same guy straight up refusing to RP, I'm sure most of you know this scene already but I thought I'd include it for anyone who doesn't. In terms of events, hosting events like dodge the hydra or 100 player sanchez races, they're fun sure, but they also show how the server isn't very serious. Instead why not try host some events similar to TIM, hosting an open bar for people to go meet, the only events are when the owners are auctioning a sawed-off shotgun. The server sets up RP like it's a task, having to make a certain amount of screenshots in order to keep your group or it'll get deleted, the majority of the players just think it's another task that needs completed every month and once their quota is done, they start saving up for next month. I don't have a great solution to this, but just raising it for a talking point. Also, PD, SWAT and HRT is pretty much a joke, mainly the second two. Patrolling around LS in bunkers just DBing with M4s constantly, HRT using RPGs when I was literally tabbed out for a whole minute, straight up DMing people. Have to give props to FBI for actually RPing and doing what FBI do, even if it includes abusing some Tunisians and ruining my recruitment process. Another thing that probably doesn't help is when managers are straight up talking shit about people, I know this ain't everyone but you know who you are

Just because I broke a rule, doesn't mean I should be permanently banned, that's why I said I think the punishment was too harsh. Would waiting inside an interior for people to enter and get frozen be considered script abuse? You're abusing the script to your advantage and people actually get affected by that. Is the ban for cop baiting or anything remotely related? If I'm breaking other rules, feel free to pm me to stop. You mean when TIM called the cops on us for kidnapping when we didn't? /v park is a widely known thing, I've seen many people use it and have been told personally to do it multiple times. It's difficult to have a good attitude towards staff when you have such shit experiences with them most of the time. The guy that banned me won't even reply to my ban appeal, he spectates me for 40 minutes just waiting for me to break any rule possible. If you truly believe I should be permanently banned for paying to flip my car over to save me bhopping across LS to go back to the respawn point then I guess there isn't much point arguing it. Also, just because I typed /v park fast, doesn't mean I do it regularly, it's just a command I've known from across all samp servers to work and have never been punished for it outside of this.

Okay, I understand that I broke a rule by script abusing, I just believe the punishment was extremely harsh, I would understand if I was warned, but to be permanently banned for something that didn't affect anyone else around us, seems a bit hard.
