Today we were dispatched for a 207 in progress, SEB was the first responder on the scene and enlightened me about what was going on. I quickly set up our team, so all of us were prepared. We managed to secure the hostage in critical condition, but we quickly evacuated him to ASGH where medics were waiting for us with a stretcher to rush him to the emergency room. The operation was done as planned and the involved ones were neutralized/arrested.

Detective Grey came to me at the offices to get a warrant approved, I took a look at it and signed it. It is crazy to see that explosives are so common in this state.

Not a succesfull day today, Captain Kowalski and Deputy Chief of Police Ed C. Davis had to deploy with SWAT in order to take care of an active carbomb. That didn't go as planned since the jammer didn't work properly and the suspect still managed to detonate the carbomb, this left the duo on the ground, but luckily they had mobile cover from the SWAT's water tank. Due to the quick response from the emergency services they were taken care off.

There is already a rule regarding this but it is not being enforced by staff due to the playerbasing going mental if someone would get warned for 'unrealistic driving'.

I just got on duty trying to start my patrol when a civilian approached my patrol vehicle and asked if she could turn in illegal contraband without getting any issues. It is our priority to get that stuff off the streets and destructed. I didn't expect to get explosives in the building.

More roleplay, my view here is to move ammunation guns into warehouses fully so criminals don't buy firearms at ammunations and ammunations will solely serve those who legally acquire the carry permit in more complex way. This will also encourage proper weapon dealing roleplay, groups will organize weapon dealing teams to distribute amongst each other. If we want to practically change anything, we need to face main issue of the "tdm" atmosphere in the server, it is solely because you can buy whole arsenal of weapons LEGALLY at basically any given time and use it however you want, instead of this groups can have a whole self-made system of purchasing weapons from each other/players, plain example would be the following, criminal group A assigns few members solely to weapon distribution, they take small portion of arms (UZI, shotgun, deagle - which would be craftable at warehouses at this point) and sell it NEAR the ammunations (behind, in the alley-way or sewers), they stay in-touch with the customers and enlarge the relations of one another.
Acquiring firearm carry permit legally would require proper prior checkup and medical record, they shall be acquired from law enforcement agencies, whereas you submit an application form on forum.
This will also increase practical duties for the law enforcement, give more wo rk/roleplay capabilities to the criminals and reduce direct interactions between the law enforcement and criminals. It would also make assault interactions that don't involve a firearm more common (mugging etc.).
But indeed to do this we'd need players who are willing to roleplay, I am expressing what I think would be better for the gameplay of person who is not here solely to deathmatch, but to enjoy the roleplay as well.Very good suggestion, I support this one.

In an emergency, a crime suppression team had to be deployed to take care of state-wide crime. The deployment lasted over two hours since the state couldn't calm down and the crime rate was rising. After the long deployment, it finally calmed down and the team was able to disband.

I've spoken with Valentino, Inferno and LocMax about a 0.3DL server, al though 3D modellers are needed and people with dedication. If players are volunteering to parttake in that and help out we could run a test server to check it out.
It would be great to start from zero with the rules due the rules being overturned once something is not going in someone's favor. Re-do the rules with the base of basic roleplay rules. It depends how many players from the playerbase prefer to roleplay or to keep it mixed. You can host a poll for example once again and make the rules around that.
I prefer roleplay over anything, but it is hard in this server due the higher count of the playerbase enjoying the action packed side of the server more, I would say make it roleplay orientated since it is called Valrise Roleplay afterall. Or keep it mixed but more strict, to not lose PB. Cause I think most of the players can agree that this server is turning in a new IM:RP.
I would say to make things more complex and make it medium-roleplay at least, but the majority would vote for no. I vote for more complexity though as I prefer roleplay. Meaning no player-actions without roleplay etc etc.
As I talked with you LocMax and with other management, I'm more than happy to partake in any form of support to making this a better roleplaying server, 0.3DL would do a lot good but there is also many negative aspects. For example you would lose a percentage of your playerbase for those who are more interested in action-packed gameplay. I'm not saying to make a 0.3DL server and move everything there, but a test server would be good, it is a lot of work indeed. I know that this has been suggestion a million times, but if we move the basic stuff to 0.3DL and test that. Maybe even make it a bit more advanced there since afterall you are moving to a 'new' version which grants you more access to script freedom. I don't think a lot of people will agree with me regarding the 0.3DL even I know that its a impossibility, but maybe this can be worked on in the 0.3.7DL server as well.
I'm just hoping that the management and the lead-developer are working towards a more roleplay orientated server, I'm down to help if needed. And of course everything starts with yourself, so everyone should take the iniative to improve the server.
Few things that should be worked on:
- Revamp of the current server rules (start from the basic roleplaying rules and work it up to more complex)
- Revamp the illegal groups (bring back official statuses and bring more roleplay to their environment)
- Economy (deduct zero's or a whole wipe)
- Prioritize player interactions instead of everything script supported
And many more
I wouldn't mind a complete revamp of the server, I would actually prefer that than keep going with the current state of it.- 3

Today I had a meeting scheduled with the officers of the department, some of them managed to attend it but most of them weren't able to. We talked about important issues in the department and how to solve them. It was long but invaluable for each and one of us.

Recently this Cadet was handpicked in the academy and I was present on that day. Now I wanted to catch up to see how it is going. Since it is important to see what the future generation of the department thinks.
