TREASURY INSPECTOR GENERAL

ROLE DEFINITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 


 

 

The "Treasury Inspector General" is a position within the Department of Treasury. The individual assigned on this position has the following duties:

  • Monitor all the State businesses (As defined in SA-PSC § IX.1. State businesses);
  • Provide independent and objective reviews, and present them to the Governor or Vice Governor;
  • Ensure the compliance of the businesses within San Andreas with the businesses regulations (ARTICLE IX.) and to take legal action against the workplaces that do not comply with the state laws;
  • Commit to the prevention and detection of fraud, waste, and abuse within the state businesses.
  • Use the Department of Treasury Vehicle to execute the duty of an Inspector.
  • Request for law enforcement on state level to execute the duty of an Inspector.

 

Authority of the Treasury Inspector General:

  • Can conduct investigations, request documentation related to the business operations, and audit the businesses at any time;
  • After receiving approval from the Governor or Vice Governor, the inspector can take legal action in conformity with the ARTICLE IX. BUSINESS REGULATIONS against the businesses that do not comply with the regulations.
