SAN ANDREAS IMPOUND & TOWING PRIVATIZED

Privatization deals promise an increase in efficiency. Applied to impound and towing service in San Andreas, does this promise hold any water?

During the San United administration of Brendan Finney, a privatization deal was carried out whereby a public asset was sold to a private company. The rationale behind these type of deals was that the private sector is much better equipped to efficiently administer such assets. Under Kavanagh’s tenure, another type of privatization occurred; that of San Andreas Impound & Towing.

San Andreas Impound & Towing Services is a continuation of formerly known San Andreas Impound. San Andreas Impound consisted of civilian employees as well as law enforcement employees. The leadership of the San Andreas Police Department requested to disqualify any civilian involvement, which resulted in a demerger of the organisation San Andreas Impound. The Government of San Andreas wished to continue impound and towing services for civilian employees - under strict supervision of the Government.

San Andreas Impound & Towing's leadership recently announced that it will cut layers of management to streamline the company's operations, reevaluate and dismiss ineffective operators and aim for a more efficient way to register impoundments. Insiders have revealed that San Andreas Impound & Towing was acquired by top-rated investor Whiteview Enterprises.
