THE CHRONICLE OF VALIRSE(TCOV) INTERVIEW #007 FEATURE: JAHMAL JONES — “SURVIVAL IN AN EVIL CITY”   During a recent interview, I sat down with Jahmal Jones, a citizen who openly described himself as a thug and shared his perspective on life, survival, and success in Valrise.   When asked what being a thug means to him, Jahmal answered without hesitation.   “It’s a means of survival, especially in this city. I just do what I can to get money.”   According to Jahmal, regular jobs never appealed to him. Instead, he chose a different path, one that he believes allowed him to build a life for himself despite difficult circumstances.   Reflecting on his childhood and early years, Jahmal described his upbringing in one word: struggle.   “When I got to this city, I had nothing.”   He also expressed frustration with government institutions, arguing that many people remain trapped in difficult situations with limited opportunities to improve their lives.   Throughout the interview, Jahmal repeatedly returned to two values he considers essential: RESPECT & DILIGENCE.   “Respect can get you a long way in this city. If you don’t have that, it’s ggz.”   According to him, many people misunderstand individuals in his position. He believes citizens often forget that people involved in street life also have families, responsibilities, and loved ones depending on them.   “They don’t understand we got lives too, and families to provide for.”   When asked whether he regrets any of the decisions that brought him to where he is today, Jahmal was clear in his response.   “NO.”   He claimed that every major decision he has made has worked in his favor and contributed to the life he currently enjoys.   Money remains one of his biggest motivations.   “What keeps me going today is money. Without money, I’ll be nothing.”   Jahmal also stated that he has built a comfortable living for himself and considers himself successful by his own standards.   As our conversation continued, I asked what advice he would offer younger citizens looking for guidance. His response was surprisingly direct.   “I don’t have any advice. People should do what they can to survive. I’m no teacher. I don’t encourage people to live by my book.”   Perhaps the most memorable moment came when I asked who the most important person in his life was.   “MYSELF.”   While some may view that answer as confidence and others as arrogance, it reflected a recurring theme throughout the interview: self-reliance.   When asked how he hopes to be remembered, Jahmal pointed to two qualities.   “MY DETERMINATION & MY RESILIENCE.”   He concluded by describing his life as the story of a young man overcoming the evil of this city.   Whether citizens agree with his outlook or not, Jahmal Jones represents one of the many different perspectives that make up the complex social landscape of Valrise.   Published by: Lenny Barny   Founder & Documentary Journalist The Chronicle of Valrise (TCOV)   Every Citizen Has a Story.

Doxing   Personal comment I am writing this appeal because I need to honestly address the terrible choices I made, apologize for them, and ask for one last chance to return to the community. I was permanently banned for doxing members of Valrise and creating an anti-Valrise Discord server. I want to start by saying that I fully admit to everything. I am not here to make excuses, minimize my actions, or hide behind a screen name. What I did was cruel, reckless, and completely inexcusable. Looking back, I am genuinely disgusted by my own behavior. I allowed personal frustration and petty immaturity to blind me, and I chose to strike out in the most toxic way possible. Doxing isn't just breaking a video game rule—it is a violation of real people's privacy and safety. By dragging people's private lives into a game and creating a whole server dedicated to tearing Valrise down, I crossed lines that should never be crossed. Valrise is a project that the staff works tirelessly to build and a place where players come to escape their daily stresses and have fun. My actions actively poisoned that environment and threatened the peace of mind of people who did nothing to deserve it. For the pain, stress, and anger I caused the administration team and the specific members I targeted, I am deeply and truly sorry. Since the ban, I’ve had a lot of time to sit with the reality of what I did, and it has been a massive wake-up call for me. I realized that the person I was acting like isn’t who I want to be. I have completely dismantled and deleted the anti-Valrise Discord server because I refuse to be a source of hatred or toxicity anymore. I have entirely cut ties with that mindset, stopped all negative behavior, and deleted any information I ever held. I miss Valrise immensely. I miss the SAMP community, the interactions, and the place I used to call home. More than anything, I hate knowing that I left the community as a villain and a toxic presence. I don't want this to be how my story here ends. I know that bans for doxing and harassment are almost always final, and I know I have absolutely no right to demand forgiveness. Trust is incredibly hard to build and so easy to destroy, and I shattered yours. All I am asking for is a final chance to prove that I have changed, even if it means being put on the strictest probation or under a zero-tolerance policy. If you find it in your hearts to give me one last opportunity, I promise to keep my head down, respect every single player and staff member, and do nothing but contribute positively to the server.
