  Hey, I apologize for whatever happened in the past.
  
  I strongly believe that this ban should be lifted since the usage of old-staff names is allowed, and no harm as long as no impersonation took place.
  If there's any doubt, I'd appreciate showing the logs, whether here or in my DM's, and I am 100% certain there was no impersonation.
  I changed my name > drove 2 - 5 minutes > received the ban

You clearly had the intention of impersonating a staff member, out of all names you could have picked, you still picked the old name of the community manager. You will be unbanned and your account will be renamed to John Davidson, use that name to log into your account ingame.
