Declan Kavangh, multi billionaire entrepreneur, has announced he will run for Governor in the 2020 November election. Mr Kavanagh, a Modern Liberal, has never run for the party's nomination before, but has talked about it in an interview with SAN News. "I am officially running for Governor of San Andreas and we are going to make our state great again," he told supporters at Star Tower at Downtown, Los Santos. He said his fortune would allow him to be an effective governor. "Our state is in serious trouble. We need to make it great again," he said. In light of recent complaints from citizens and the changes being made to address arisen issues, the San Andreas Police Department held a public press conference on Tuesday night. Around six o'clock in the evening the Los Santos conference centre opened it’s doors for the event. Citizens had the opportunity to walk in and discuss their concerns with representatives of the Police Department, who not only gave a speech but went in great detail to answer questions from the audience. During the course of the event the stage of the conference centre was taken by different individuals from all walks of life. Most notable was the appearance of Mr. Ed Gambino, who took the floor to deliver an inspiring speech and impressed the crowd with the questions he fired at SAPD. Mister Gambino appeared to have come prepared for the event and did not hold back, laying some tough questions at the feet of both Khalid King and Elias Carter. The aforementioned Police Department representatives took their time to explain various new concepts that were put in place to improve the SAPD. The attendance of citizens at the conference was as high as one could expect for a Tuesday night. Locals were eager to hear any public statement coming from law enforcement, as communication has been quite minimal in recent times. The SAPD showed their best side tonight, in an event that takes a big step in the right direction regarding transparency and public trust. SAN News shares with the public the result of the latest electoral poll to forecast the elector's preferences for voting in the general election for Governor of San Andreas. The result was anticipated due to rearrangements within the newspaper's electoral coverage schedule. Richie Kavanagh emerges slightly ahead on the votes, with 35,6%. Right behind, comes Shehryar Khan, from the Communist Party, with 33,3%. Ace Westbrooks comes third with 31,1%. An innovation from previous electoral contests: this time, SAN News will forecast the elector's preferences shortly before the polling stations open for voting. This is part of the SAN News effort to provide a complete and accurate coverage of the scheduled election for the Governor's post in 2020 #2. Anyone will have the right to cast in their opinion in the poll starting with a single and simple question: If the election happened TODAY, which candidate would you vote for? The SAN News' official poll will be available to anyone from the moment of this publication to May 4, 18:00. The poll results will then be announced in a special coverage break, at the same day at 20:00.
