  1. I think there should be a possibility to have more chars

    Its annoying to stay on the same char all the time, maybe some people want to roleplay a cop and a criminal but they cant

    making multi accounts though could bring problems like people going on cop duty just to rival other clans aka metagaming basically and shit

    so i propose to make an application system, where you have to answer some questions about roleplay, why you want to have another character etc etc explaining rules and a story for the character, just like in group applications basically

    depending on this application quality people will be sorted out from the pakis who just want more chars for houses/cars and the ones who want to roleplay something else

  2. imo all the players rn are too scattered and along with the removal of /area it could make chases and shit easier i guess and roleplay more often, as you d see more people in a restricted space

    it would be very hard to do though as we d have to remove group properties, warehouses and such and such a transfer is hard but i think it could become something if the players with the properties out of bounds are contacted first

  5. In my opinion, right now all the groups in game are completely fucked. There s no real difference anymore, just some people with tags and different coloured cars. There s no variation, all people just go around in some sultans or go fight at turfs and call themselves a ‘mafia’. Eg. gambino, sindacco, p company etc

    I think such groups and many more shouldn’t benefit of the /group feature as they never roleplay and are a leech to the server itself, by having no requirements to join, by using pms and just /groupinvite to add members, therefore roleplaying becoming extinct

    I think there should at least be some interaction ICly when adding someone to your group, like for example here s how i recruited someone back when I was in Sindacco: some guy was placing ads for toy(weapon) cases, I contacted him and met with him along with some of my men and rped carried some briefcases and all into the basement of my restaurant. We did the deal and shit, after checking it, then some time later this guy applies for us and then ICly he contacts us to talk with him and all.

    Nowadays I see people with gambino, sindacco and other tags regularly, which im sure they just added it via pm by talking to the leaders like “hi can i join” “yes come ch 6969 at OD turf help us dm”

    I think factions should all post roleplaying screens in order to be /group s in game. I know it s a hassle and all, but there s no roleplay nowadays and this is the simplest way of having factions actually roleplay and prove it, by posting the “evidence” basically.

     

    EDIT: There is one group that I want to shoutout, that being the 18th Idlewood Bloods. Recently they’ve been a little inactive I guess, but at the time when they were playing actively, they were doing a pretty good depiction of a real gang, which was noticeable in the way they roleplayed, the places they chose to hang out at and the way they talked, etcetera.

  6. Things like robbing and kidnapping are a main thing on this server. I think that the way they work should be changed.

    Nowadays, it's a standard to roleplay taking out your gun, and that's considered passable to kill anyone/kidnap/rob.

    Robbing is the most acceptable thing, but it has some things which should be changed. For example, it shouldn't be allowed to rob in areas like LSPD/Hospitals/places with big roleplay interest. Also, in my opinion killing someone and robbing him afterwards shouldn't be allowed. There's scums that kill you and take everything off you. On servers such as LSRP/RCRP as well as HZRP (it's kind of a little bit different there, but still same idea.) it's NOT allowed to kidnap someone just to rob them, or to kill that person and afterwards to take the items off that person. It's more realistic to rob someone at a gunpoint, take some stuff off them then run away.

    Kidnapping. Same thing I said as about robbing, it should be done in more closed areas. I get a lot of people coming at my garage with 5 people around and robbing/kidnapping or doing other DM inducing things.  Anyways, robbing is permitted to be done on anyone, as you normally don't rob someone you know. But with kidnapping it's the opposite. I've had plenty of cases where I was DMed/tried to be kidnapped just for OOC reasons, such as being hated or for that I didn't map something for a certain someone. (Yes, I'm talking about you, Carlo Gambino). I'd like to remind something to you all:

    YOU'RE NOT YOUR CHARACTER

    Just because you have someone OOCly doesn't mean you should go pull up to that person and deathmatch/ poorly kidnap them. I mean, if you want to do something to someone at least make some kind of proper IC reason, like having someone crash into your vehicle and not pay for it, then catching the person in an alleyway/closed place for robbing/kidnapping. Also, I think that mafias should mostly kidnap other mafia members or gang members, not just go at people they don't like OOCly.

    Motive for joining the council:  In my opinion, currently there could definetely be some space for some changes in the group system and management. First off, I have quite some plans and suggestions which I would put into use, if I get one of the slots, such as raising roleplay-ing standard, and use, along with punishing meta-gaming as it ruins any kind of interaction. Another problem that groups currently have, in my opinion, is the mentality. I plan to reward intelligent groups, which step outside the box and bring something new and fresh to the server, not just mafia copycats which have nothing to do with actual mafias, along with striving to be the "winner" and the "coolest", as in getting the most money or winning the most shootouts. Another issue that I plan to somehow resolve is how groups act. I have witnessed and have been the victim of many revenge-killing groups, or using OOC motives to attack me in character, and I plan for that to be way more strict. For example, I think no group should act on someone they have no relations with, for example kidnapping a player just because you don't like him OOCly.

    Three positive and negative attributes about yourself: Well, I guess I could start with the negative ones. One trait that affects me the most is my impulsiveness, as I can do rash actions when pushed in a corner, or when I get really annoyed/pressured. Also other negative traits I have are things that came with the stuff that I mentioned before, such as a bad punishment history, along with impatience(at times). On the bright side, when those things do not occur I can be a very passionate player, and give my all to the server, as I already helped with several things, such as many suggestions that have been added in game, and so on. I also have a long experienced of playing on different servers such as LSRP/RCRP, and observed how groups work there as well.

      I would like to say that I have opened my eyes after getting to know Morais, and now I am sure not to underestimate any staff members or consider them 'pakis'

     

  9. As I prefer to join the dark side, rather than being part of the police, I have tried most criminal jobs.

    Then, I have realized that some jobs just aren't worth the risk.

    Let's start with the weed. It costs you a medium-price house , with the right interior to grow weed. That costs you around 100k$.

    You must get out at night to get the seeds from a dealer, which have a price that isn't important. After that, you plant them in your house and wait 3 phases. All of them last 1 hour each. The first one is seedling, after one hour comes the 'need water' phase , which also takes one hour and then the final phase Vegetative/Flowering. All these 3 take 3 hours together. There is a limit of 23 plants/house, and a plant gives around 8-10 grams of weed on average. That equals to 210 grams on average, which equals 8k$ at the dealer.

    Even if it s a riskless job, it isnt worth buying a house for doing 16-24k$ a day.


    Second on the list, is the heroin. Even if the drop rates of heroin have been increased it still FAILS miserably. For one run, you will need 1x all of these: Water, Calcium, Sodium and Acetone ( bought from the drug dealer, except for the water, which can be found inside 24/7s.) All of these cost 554$/run. A run can get you around 15( the smallest I have got) and 30 grams(most I have received is 27 though.). The price/g is 52$. The smallest profit you can get is 230$ and the maximum is 1010$ on a single run, which takes 5-7 minutes. The place to do heroin is in a very open spot, known by most people, in the woods. Anyone can come kidnap you or steal your stuff while you are cooking, also it is very easy for cops to detect you there. Therefore I think it is a very risky job for around 500-600$ on average/run, therefore making it 6000$/hour, which is unnacceptable for such a job.

    It's like drugs but letal

    In my opinion, such a system should work like this:

    - a truck with cargo is needed ( with a set capacity)

    - there should be different ores(copper , iron , gold) at different sites on the map where you can extract them.

    - after extracting the ore, in order to sell it, it should have to be processed into bars/etc.

    - more expensive ores should have different gathering/processing/trading points ( different trading points for each) on the map so they will be harder.

    - licences an level requirements for each type.

  11. High risk, High reward.

    Even if these are very hard to add, they would be a great RP opportunity for both sides, especially if with the new version of 0.3.8 the interiors will be 3D, where you will be able to do a lot more interaction.

    My ideas on how it should work or requirements are:

    - minimum level 15-20

    - a big vehicle needed for transporting the bags/sacks of money like a van or something

    - a system where you have to buy like a drill or anything that can go through a safe in order to break in and get that sweet cash.

    - a large alarm with sound and lights( considering 0.3.8 will launch soon)
