Kalcor quit developing this game and 0.3DL a long time ago. 0.3DL never made my game laggier than the already 0.3.7 and the same goes for crashes. I've experienced almost the same or more crashes with 0.3.7.
The skins are a plus one, since 300 is pretty limited and in a roleplay server, even appearance (via skins and objects etc) matters, so why not live with this great opportunity of expanding realistic character portrayal not just in chat?
0.3dl is also very much within reach. You can go to the official LSRP website and download it in 10 seconds if you want to play mudoo and other games. Alternatively players can use SAMP addon to have 0.3.7 or 0.3Dl client whilst still being able to connect to servers on 0.3Dl while they are 0.3.7 and vice versa
SAMP development for the future is very very unstable and im pretty sure they FULLY stopped working on EVERYTHING SAMP-related INCLUDING taking DOWN THE OFFICIAL FORUMS(!!!) 0.3.7 is just as obsolete as 0.3DL, while 0.3DL is still offering just a slight more variety of SAMP to the players, making it very much superior to 0.3.7 in my opinion.
whats the cost? if your PC cannot run a slightly beefier version of SAMP then its time to install an antivirus and clean your PC up, cus im pretty sure even a 14 yr old pc can run SAMP
here you go, make your PC faster:
Download this antivirus https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Also it's fine if we dont have 10+ people flooding in everyday. I'm pretty sure the staff team are already overloaded with the number of players and the players that are here to troll, know nothing about the english language or roleplay etcetera etcetera. We have a community of around 150 players (am i wrong?) i think 115 can atleast make that change from 0.3.7 to 0.3DL.
Minimum System Requirements
Processor: 1GHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon Processor
RAM: 256 MB
Video Memory: 64MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce3" or better)
Hard Drive Space: 3.6 GB
Operating System: Windows 2000/XP
DirectX Version: 9.0
Recommended System Requirements
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better)
RAM: 512 MB
Video Memory: 128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better)
Hard Drive Space: 4.7 GB
If you want to run it with HD mods it'll change depending on what you're installing.Creds: "Florida"
Already said, don't compare with other servers, the server you have mentioned is way different than ours.
And I haven't mentioned that the 0.3.DL actually makes the game laggy but crash, which is an issue and I'll be leaving the most common one here and the theory.
QuoteException At Address: 0x0040FB80 Base: 0x03F80000
And regarding the theory, 0.3.DL players that plays in 0.3.7 compatible servers are **ONLY** limited to 1000 objects.
And on the other hand, 0.3.7 players that plays in 0.3.DL risk being crashed when an object with an ID more than 1000 is streamed to them, they'll most likely crash.
I've worked in 0.3.DL environment for 2 years, so If I am not wrong this is the most common crash, and the theory. I've tried it practically, otherwise you can go to SA-MP's official discord and ask there, what's the issue in 0.3.DL crashes to confirm.
Thanks.

It's a useful suggestion, I am sure the command will be frequently used if implemented.
Positive.

better be a paycheck history in phone instead of a chat message, we should recieve an SMS about the paycheck
that's realistic too and eats less of our chatedit: should show a chat message for people not having a phone ((or turned off)) or newbies won't be able to see paycheck(due to not having a phone)
Unique addition.

This suggestion is nice overall. Billboards are meant to be owned by Advertisement Agencies. It will increase the purpose of Advertisement groups. But the management will have to figure out a way to remove the billboards owned by normal players, which is a drawback of it, however if it is possible somehow then.
Positive.

Thank you everyone for your feedback, really appreciate them.

You can either use SA-MP addon or SA-MP fast loader addon, you can do a simple google search and find them easily.
But be sure to ask an admin's consent before using the SA-MP fast loader addon as I'm not sure if the server refuses the connection or not when it is used.
You can use SA-MP Addon which has no problems at all but yeah, it doesn't actually pause your game when you press ESC (as you know that staying in the game tabbed for so long can get you a punishment) so in order to fix that, just create a text file in the GTA SA folder if you decide to install SA-MP addon, named "disableantiesc.txt", and yeah keep it empty, just the file name should be exactly same.
After it, you are good to go, let me know if you have any issues.

Hello there, my name is Renisal. I am an SA-MP scripter and mapper and I am playing the modification since 2014.
So, In this thread, I will tell you the fastest way you can connect to the Valrise Roleplay server.Result:
(on your desktop)
The fastest way to connect to the Valrise Roleplay server.
It is pretty simple and I guess some of you already might be using this method to connect.
I'll be making steps so it will be easier to understand, even though it's very simple to do.Steps:
1). Go to the directory/folder where GTA San Andreas is installed.
2). Right-click Mouse Button on samp.exe and select "Properties".
Look for the location field.
3). Copy the whole location field, which is "C:\Program Files (x86)\GTA San Andreas" in my PC as you can see.
- Keep the location copied and then.
4). Go to your Desktop and right-click mouse button on the empty place, a menu will appear, select New > Shortcut from the menu.
5). A shortcut wizard should appear, now simply paste the target location which you copied from samp.exe properties.
Add "samp.exe" after the location and the Server IP i.e. rp.valrisegaming.com:7777 after the quoted location, like this:
6). Then it will ask you for a name, simply put Valrise Roleplay and click next.
7). We're almost done, you can now play by clicking on it but let's finish this after setting up a good icon as the default SA-MP icon looks ugly/blurry (my opinion!)
Download the ICON image here.
(You need to convert the PNG file into .ICO file which you can easily do by using online file-type convertors, I won't be posting links though)
8). Click on "Change Icon" button and locate the Icon's destination, Click on "Apply" after selecting.
And we're done, the quickest & convenient way to connect to Valrise Roleplay server.
Optional Comments:
Want to connect more faster and skip the loading screen? You can use SA-MP addon to connect even faster.
You can also use SA-MP fast loader addon (not sure if its allowed, make sure to ask a staff member before using)
The username that you have put in your SA-MP client will be used.
Feel free to comment down if you encounter any issue while following the steps, I'll be more than glad to reply back.
Thank you for reading, hope you found something useful.

The SA-MP 0.3.DL indeed has good features but it comes with a cost.
First of all, we should not compare with other servers who are in the DL version as their community might not be the same as ours. I bet that you won't see many Light Roleplay servers and Light Roleplay players there because that version is mostly used by heavy roleplayers, while the community of Valrise majorly consists of new learning roleplayers and one of the best script of its type, which is one of its unique identities.
Second, the DL version is no longer getting support from SA-MP developers. It's not stable as 0.3.7 and I've seen a lot of players experiencing crash issues and I bet that you won't be seeing many newbie SA-MP players in 0.3.DL as compared to 0.3.7 as most new players downloads SA-MP from its official site and then find a server in the master list. It's possible to create a download button on the homepage but it won't be within the new player's reach.
There's a myth that SA-MP 0.3.DL makes the game laggy, it is not until the server uses a massive amount of textures and skins and it won't affect much but yeah you can expect more crashes in DL as compared to 0.3.7.
Third, there's nothing you will see in DL except some nice textures and skins which I believe most players might be using mods to get nicer textures and skin already and SA-MP has over 300 skins already, which is more than enough. Kalcor/SA-MP team said that they will be adding more types in the future other than custom models, objects, et cetera but they stopped it in the middle, if it was continued then I guess it would be a beneficial change with no cost at all.
Lastly, I would like to say that Valrise Roleplay is a light roleplay server if I am not wrong, and should be within reach of new SA-MP/RP players.
The point is, the cost of moving to DL is higher than its actual value.
I hope you get my point, if you think I've said something wrong then feel free to let me know, thanks!
So, in my opinion, it's a Negative for this change.

These are the people who used to create threads such as "Is SA-MP dead", "SA-MP is dying", "Is Kalcor Alive?" and similar topics on SA-MP forums over and over again. I won't say that UG-MP didn't had features what SA-MP couldn't offer but the SA-MP Team knew how to actually grow and develop their mod & community while the UG-MP team were demanding admin levels in the communities that are growing.
Their intention was clear that they wanted Valrise Roleplay (SA-MP) to become a server based on UG-MP only and not affiliated with any other modification so they can take control over it and you know what they can do if anything goes against their policies, and not to mention their policies includes: must give admin power, discord roles*, permission to use surfly and so on otherwise it will make them disappointed, in my opinion, looking at their behavior, they are not actually mature enough or experienced enough to manage a community, I agree that they made a nice mod but couldn't do better management And I am sure that that if Valrise Management would have taken the decision to merge then it wouldn't where it is now and as you can see UG-MP is not alive anymore, they would obviously blame the server management for not getting enough players and it could end up a bad ending. Demanding admin levels is something that you shouldn't even expect from a new player, and they are management of a modification, says enough about their management and future of their modification development. They can just keep blaming SA-MP for petty reasons such as the code, forums management, et cetera while I saw them using SA-MP forums to advertise their own modification, which is irony. The summary is that they wanted to take control over the Valrise Roleplay by convincing the management to shift the community from SA-MP to UG-MP and reveal the truths one by one.
But the Valrise Management outsmarted them and really made the best decision available to them.
Outplayed, I'd say.
