If you all just played with consideration for others there wouldn't be a problem. If you were taught to share with others and socialised correctly you'd have learned that in life sometimes you compromise in order to play well with others. Instead you work out the shortcuts to lie, scam, cheat and rob each other of your ingame shit.

We regretfully received contact from the government on 02-07-2020 that a MASA rocket crashed in the Idlewood vicinity of Los Santos at 23:45. Units were dispatched to the scene immediately to contain the damage and minimise loss of life. Barracuda worked tirelessly through the night to make the rocket safe, and alongside SAPD were able to minimise casualties.We can confirm that Barracuda, working on behalf of MASA, did not launch the rocket at this time. There are a limited number of individuals with remote launch capability, so we are looking into the following possibilities:
- Accidental launch by an authorised party
- Purposeful launch by an unauthorised party
Rest assured the incident is being investigated. In the meantime, our Scientists have been able to retrieve telemetry data from the rocket that will be used prior to the official launch on 5th July 2020 to help ensure mission success. In the interests of transparency, the arrival of Barracuda on scene, and the work in the area, was recorded and is available as a part of public record below.

If people don't like it then you could run it so you keep maybe your most valuable 2 items, or only lose a percentage when you die.
Something drastic is needed to stop constant DM. I don't doubt though that any change made, some players will leave. I would expect the strategists and roleplayers to stay though.
Going to a turf would be different, it could be scripted so you lose nothing in a turf war so people can get their dose of DM for the day.

This is totally reliant on swift admin action and a reform of storage. I would suggest the review of how safes work in house storage, e.g. 500k would buy you a totally secure safe that could store up to 3000 items (grapes, ammo etc), 1 mil for 6000 items etc
I'd combine this with interviews for new volunteers with a Lead Trooper+ before letting them on duty.
Also, this bullshit about volunteers randomly killing people is NOT an IC issue, it's DM. Start punishing it.

I support anything that discourages people dying, fuck it, lets just do:
Loss of inventory on death
Police lose hourly paycheck for death
Make it easier to get secure storage with it costing more money to securely store larger amounts. E.g. Small safe is 500k for a smaller amount of items.

Well, we see players lying to admins in situations all the time... people would be discouraged if a real example was set, punishments getting truly escalated if log checks need to be done, otherwise players take advantage.
