     INFORMATION

    • You can download the Valrise Launcher from here and you may view more information regarding it here.
    • Windows 8 does not support .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later versions, therefore, you will not be able to run Valrise Launcher on it.
    • Windows 7, 8.1, 10, and 11 support .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later versions on the latest updates available.
    • Linux Distributions do not support Windows applications by default, however, workarounds MAY work.

    UPDATING YOUR WINDOWS

In-order to receive the latest updates available for your current operating system, you will have to open Windows Update and then you may download latest security updates. If you are unable to update your Windows (7/8.1) due to an error displaying, then you may use Legacy Update which automatically checks your operating system for the missing updates and lets you download them.

You may download Legacy Update from here.

    COMMON ISSUES

"A certificate chain could not be built ... / A certificate chain processed ..."

This issue is fixed automatically by running Legacy Update or you may download the certificate file from here. If you're installing it manually, double click the certificate and select Place all certificates in the following store and then click on Browse, then select Trusted Root Certification Authorities from the menu that shows up. Then click on Next and then Finish.

".NET Framework ... is not supported on this system"

This issue is fixed by getting the latest updates possible for your system as long as you're running one of the operating systems listed above.

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application"

This issue is often a connection issue, verify that you're connected to the internet. If issue persists and you're sure it's not your internet connection or ISP/DNS server/Firewall, try deleting all the files under the Launcher directory and reinstalling the launcher. Note that this is not necessarily a connection issue and may be shown for any other reason.

    "ValriseLauncher.exe has stopped working (KERNELBASE.dll)"

This issue is fixed by ensuring that you have the latest updates installed for your operating system.

"AHK does not work with launcher"

This issue is fixed by running the AHK script as an administrator since the launcher automatically runs the game as an administrator and AHK requires the selected window to be of the same run mode.

"Windows does not trust the launcher or Defender detects it as a virus"

This issue is fixed by clicking Run when you are prompted to run the installer and if Windows Defender blocks it, then you may exclude the installer or the Valrise Launcher folder if the issue happens after installation. This is normal for most .msi applications.

    "TLS/SSL problem on Windows 7"

Windows 7 has TLS 1.2 disabled by default and you need to configure it to enable it. This executable file automatically does it for you, however, ensure that you have all the updates installed beforehand.
