A child of Italian immigrants, who looked for a better future in America, Victorio's childhood was indifferent than his relatives.

Settled in New York, city full of crime, corruption and poverty during the 80s, the family could barely make the ends meet.

Victorio's father worked in a local shoe factory and could not provide enough money for the family, as he had gambling and alcohol addictions. Victorio grew up, often being a witness of his father molesting and beating his mother. These events left a mark in Victorio's memory, as he often wakes up from nightmares, even to this day.

___

Teenage years

Victorio grew up in one of the most miserable and dangerous neighbourhoods in New York. He was trying to earn some dollars out of anything, just like every poor kid.  Victorio would often pass near the shiny clothing and jewelry stores would stare for a few minutes at the shop window.

He really wished he could provide an expensive coat or a jewelry to his mother for gratitude as she meant the world to him.

During 80s era, leather shoes were quite popular. However, only the higher class could afford them, as one pair of shoes cost the salary of his father for a month.

Victorio was a smart lad and started as a street shoe cleaner. He did not attend school, but would rather make money, in order to support his family.

His father's behaviour did not change during the years and Victorio became a victim to his father' abuse

___

Moving to LA.

Victorio's mother divorced his father and moved to the West coast, settling in the city of Los Santos.

They settled in El Corona, a hispanic neighbourhood, indifferent than the place Victorio used to live.

His mother found a job in a local laundry and would have long and exhausting shifts. Victorio would barely see her most of the time. He had plenty of time to seek for a good money-making method, but he didn't know anybody and where to start.

Devastated by the poverty and conditions they were in, not so much time passed untill Victorio performed his first illegal crime.

___

The crime.

Victorio stole some money from his mother's purse, while she was at work. She had just received her first salary which was able to cover the rent and some food for a couple of days.

El Corona was quite a famous place for weapons and drugs smuggling. Victorio got in contact with a local arms dealer and invested every single penny of his mother's salary in a pistol - Taurus .38.

The pistol was perfectly fitting a trouser or a coat's pocket and was hardly visible.

A couple of days later, Victorio had to move.

It was around 22:13 P.M, in a cold and rainy autumn night. Victorio approached the local 24/7 and pointed the gun at the shop-keeper. He managed to steal 200 bucks and vanished. He managed to recover the money he stole from the purse and even a few bucks were left in his pocket.

He started performing small robberies and extortions which were not left unnoticed by the criminal world.

The turf was controlled by the notorious Gambino family. The turf was controlled by a guy, known as "Big Shaq" and his crew. "Big Shaq" was a capo of Gambino family and was responsible for the businesses in that area. He was responsible for the "protection" services there. If somebody didn't want to pay or was late for the monthly fee, bad consequences happened to him. Stories tell, that one customer found the local butcher's head in his basket when he got home. Many other people went missing

___

The meeting.

Shaquille learned about Victorio's activities and sent two of his men to search for him.

The mobsters found Vic in a local bar and grabbed him by his both shoulders and took him out.

Victorio thought that his minutes were counted and most likely he would end up with a cut throat in a thrash-bin. However, Shaquille did not want to kill him as Victorio had italian origins, exactly what Shaq's crew needed.

Victorio became an associate of the crew and performed mainly the dirty work. You know, drug smuggling, extortions, burglaries and other crime activities.

These events helped him earn some good money and Vic quickly gained Shaquille's trust.

His mother didn't had to work anymore as money was more than enough for the family. However, she never learned what Victorio exactly did. All she could notice are the bruises on Vic's fists, but she remained silent.

___

The progress.

Victorio became an official made-man of Gambino family. He strictly followed Shaquille's orders. "Big Shaq" was like a father to him as he helped Victorio a lot to develop his character.

Victorio showed an incredible loyalty and knowledge. He avoided trouble and preferred to play his cards low-key. These events resulted to a promotion. Vic was  connected directly to the Boss himself - Ashton.

___

Shaquille's death.

Shaquille's passing came out like a lighting from a clear sky for Victorio.

Hundreds of people attended the funeral, including famous mobsters, public figures and politicians.

Victorio was one of the men carrying Shaquille's coffin to the very end.

___

Gambino family today.

Gambino family continues to dominate in the city of Los Santos. The organisation controls 50 percent of the businesses. The family has grown roots in other sections in the social structure, including SAPD and FBI. Rumours say that they sponsor election campaigns and events.

Victorio is a part of the family today, but can not been spotted too much in public areas. He donates, creates charity campaigns and supports his family.

There are rumours in the underworld that ''Toro'' is the Boss of the family, helping out Ashton with different tasks and activities, however that information is not confirmed.

Toro's effect helped the family to become one of the main heroin players in the black market, providing the best price possible in the state. The family has a very strict and organised rank structure and is very committed to it. Gambino family has associates to the family, smuggling goods of all kinds for them in all parts of San Andreas state.
Toro can be spotted with his men in Alhambra club most of the time, the family's most famous club in Los Santos.

It was one of those nights, where Victorio could barely sleep again.. The scenario of his father abusing her mother is still in front of his eyes, leaving a long-life damage in his mind. He got off the sheets, washed himself, got dressed and went to the bar leaving with himself for a few moments.

Later that day Victorio had a small traffic accident.
Luckily nobody was seriously hurt. Unfortunately, Vic hit his head in the window on his left and received a slight concussion.
However, due to the proffesionalism of SAFD and SAPD, Victorio received a successful treatment and was able to go home on the same day.
