The West Side (W/S) 83 Hoover Criminals Gang, also known as the "8-Tray Hoovers" and formerly known as the "83 Hoover Crips", are a large and infamous African American street gang founded on the west side of South Los Angeles, California. Sometimes referred to as "The Rascals", this gang is considered to be the largest and most active sub-set under the Hoover Criminals Gang umbrella. Their territory stretches from 80th Street in the north to approximately Manchester Avenue in the south, between Vermont Avenue in the west and Figueroa Avenue to the east. There are six separate Hoover neighborhoods from 52nd Street to 112th Street, but the 83 Hoovers are thought to be the most active and the largest in the 77th Division of the L.A.P.D. They are cliqued up with their closest geographical allies, the 74 Hoover Criminals Gang, and are friendly towards all Hoover Criminals. The Eight-Tray Hoovers have no known allies outside of the Hoover Criminals. They were at one time friendly towards the Eight Tray Gangster Crips, who shared in the Hoovers' hatred for all Neighbor Hood Crips, but that is no longer the case. Despite their large list of enemies, the 83 Hoover Criminals dominate their neighborhood through their sheer numbers plus their reputation for brutality and terror.

The Hoover Criminal Gangs originated in the 1960s and were originally known as the Hoover Groovers. The Hoover Groovers, have been around long before the formation of the Crips. By the mid 1970s, due to their alliance with the West Side Crips, the Hoovers dropped the ''Groovers'' from their name and adopted the Crips so they became to Hoover Crips. By the 1980s, during the Crack epidemic in the South Central region of Los Santos, San Andreas, the Hoover Gangster Crips became one of the most notorious street gangs to participate in the drug world. From Crips to Criminals By the 1990s, the Hoovers renounced Crips and decided to change their name, by replacing Crips with Criminals (Hoover Criminals).

* You are expected to roleplay something that fits your character age.
* You are expected to respect OGs and veterans.
* You are expected to drive vehicles that fits to your character.
* You are expected to hang around our hood.
* You can chill where ever you want with friends as long as you are not interacting with the gang or not middle RP sit.

* We represent the color ORANGE, so make your clothes reflect that.
