By: Devin Roman | FEBRUARY 1st, 2021.
San Andreas Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting deaths of seven people, police said Monday.
Police are not identifying the suspect and did not provide any additional details because the individual is a juvenile of an Asian descent.
They would not comment to SAN News on what connection, if any, the suspect may have had with those who died, though on Sunday police said that they did not believe the shooting was random.
"Detectives do not believe any additional persons were involved," a police press release said.
The shooting occurred early Sunday at Gas Station 9 Idlewood, police said. A juvenile was in critical condition after being shot, police said.
SAN News had already interviewed multiple witnesses at the crime scene on said date to despite what the police have stated, these witnesses claim that there were multiple criminal organisations involved including the Gambino Family as well as Grove Street Family and National Balla Association.
Speaking Sunday, Police Lieutenant said the incident was the city's largest mass casualty shooting in more than a month and appeared to be "mass murder".
SAPD's PR Team stated that the police are currently still investigating said incident
