  2. You do not get to choose how your request is handled. You are not allowed to bother staff members. Reappeal in a week.
  3. Valrise heads to its 5th full year as an established community. Back in 2017, we were just a loose bunch of guys with some conceived ideas and general thoughts over what we idealized of a community, but most importantly, we were very sure of the things we didn't want a new community to become, based on our previous experiences. Looking at 2022 just by the corner, we believe it is adequate to rewind our year. In 2021, the second year of the pandemic, which could be defined almost entirely by uncertainty (for good and for bad), we strove with the mission of keeping people entertained through the hard times - though things were reopening and life slowly returning to normal, we were glad to see most people who found us during the pandemic and enjoyed their time decided to stay, making Valrise their gaming home. We see that as the result of successful policies, constant server improvements (don't forget to thank @LocMax for the relentless development!) and understanding the demands of our playerbase. We also continued with projects to further expand the community to other games. 2021 saw the launch of our FiveM server and the installment of a Minecraft server, thanks to the enduring effort of our developers, testers and staff members, whom each at their attributions dedicate their time to make Valrise a better place. During the year, we also saw the demise of other long-standing roleplay communities in SA:MP. Valrise is one of the last standing english-speaking roleplay servers in this platform, and this year has just highlighted even more to us the challenge it is to maintain things running properly and sustain a playerbase who trusts us to guarantee this. Fidelity is something highly regarded when you manage a community, and it means we're thriving in the right way. Our efforts, however, would mean nothing without you, the one reading this text. We hope to see you around in 2022! Lastly but not least important, just nearing 2022 we were glad to promote @INFERNO and have him assume the vacant SA:MP Server Leader position, recognizing his continued dedication and reliability, as well welcoming @Arendameth to the server management. All said, Valrise Management wishes everyone a Happy New Year and happy holidays.
  4. 1Shot1Kill crew won the event - congratulations to them! I'll be hosting another event in this fashion next week, but individual, to compensate for all the faults we had in this one!
  5. That's the matchmaking for the event - the first two playoff matches will be played firstly. The winner of G6 vs. El Katiba Ballas will play Game 3, against Immortal Force. The winner of Ara Aara Sioonara vs. Elite Squad will play Game 6, against 1Shot1Kill. Remembering that if a crew can not place 4 guys who meet the event requirements to participate, they will lose the match by WO [walkover].
  6. Hurk Drubman and Berdy Reznov do not meet the necessary activity to participate, you'll need to find one more person for your team Enes Soprano is already with the Kavanaghs, you'll need to find one more person for your team Deniz Kocovali, Joe Luis, Cian Walsh and Ricky Pearson do not meet the necessary activity to participate, you'll need to find two more people for your team --------------------------------------------------------------------- All above said, I have already drew the match table. Will be publishing here in a few hours! If the above quoted crews do not get to make the necessary appointed arrangements in time, they will lose by WO [walkover] against the opponents they were initially drew to match. Since 10 registered crews, we will have a quarter-final format with two play-off matches before. You'll be able to see that in the table to be posted.
  7. 2020 was a challenging year in all aspects - from our personal lives to adapting to the “new normal” a global pandemic brought us. Running this community was no different, since the lockdowns and movement restrictions also brought the necessity of providing good entertainment for the people. Specially this year, we have had a record number of new players who got to know the community, joined once to try and ended up sticking around, and to those specially I thank you for trusting us. To our regulars, who have been around for longer and were used to one server, this year brought some massive changes. From our average playerbase, which drastically increased and made us recruit more staff members, gain an overload of extra demands and readequate to the new reality the community faced, to significant changes in the server’s dynamics, in a way to renew and make gameplay more fun and appealing. We also thank you for trusting us this long and ensuring we’re responsible for providing you some meaningful joy in your free time. New players joined, most of them stayed, some of them departed. Regardless, we’ve been ceaselessly striving for the server’s development to guarantee player experience here is unique, free of disturbance and that every person thrives up to the best of their potential in the way they wish to play. This also includes the work that’s being done in our current WIP projects: the FiveM and the upcoming UG:MP server. We’re not free of criticism, and constructive appointments help us adapt, overcome and improve issues, and we’re also thankful for them – compliments come illustrated when we see work pay off, with an active server and people sparing much of their free time here. We’re not paid nor receive any advantages for managing this community, which means all our efforts towards this come out of free will and the willingness to see this community thrive, as the place we chose to stay, play and relate to. All said, Valrise Management wishes you all Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and warmful happy holidays.

  9. It is Christmas season, and that also means there's a handful events planned for this month! This is the fourth one of them - A sequerce of fierce battles to take place in the Blueberry Arena, in where crews of four people will match each other and push to the best of their skills to win the grand prize. EVENT INFORMATION Group Wars is a planned team deathmatch event to be hosted in a controlled environment [Blueberry Arena]. Crews of four people will fight each other round per round till the grand prize. WHEN AND WHERE? DATE: December 26th [saturday] TIME: 17:00 [real /time] HOW TO WIN? Once we have the full list of crews to participate in the event, we will draw them in random matches. The winner of each match will be drawn with another winner, and so on, till we end up with 2 crews, who will then fight in the final for the grand prize. The winning crew in a match will be the one who eliminate all four members of the opposite crew firstly. GUIDELINES A crew consists of four people - one team leader and three participants. To apply your crew to participate in the event, use the following form to post in this topic: [reminder that you must be at least level 5 or higher and have played in the server at least 10 hours from November 21 till December 21, 00:00 to be eligible to participate] Crew Name: Crew Leader: Crew Members: Skin ID: The weapons at disposal for the matches will be Desert Eagle, Shotgun and M4. Each crew will begin at the opposite side of the Arena and will await for the go from the event hoster to begin the match. There's no time limit - the match ends once all four members of a crew are dead. PRIZES The winning crew members will earn 1 million and 10 donor points each. RULES PRE-EVENT A participant in the event [crew member] must be level 5 or higher; A participant in the event [crew member] must have at least 10 hours played in the server in a monthly period prior to this topic's publication [December 21, so from November 21 to December 21, 00:00]; A crew leader is allowed to replace any participants within his team till an hour prior to the event - simply post in this topic quoting your original application topic by saying which member[s] will be replaced and by who. Crew registrations will end at exactly 23:59, in December 25. The match schedule will be posted saturday in this topic, early in the day, so all crews are aware. EVENT Usage of items to boost your health during a match [joints, syringes, painkillers, cases, etc] is disallowed; Usage of features you might have access to and grant you advantage in combat [barriers, for example] is disallowed; Being in a job that grants you health boost [SWAT/HRT] during a match is disallowed; Every possible glitch that would grant you advantage over another player beyond the mechanisms of the game, except Litefoot and Scroll Reload is disallowed; If a crew member crashes during a match, the match will not be stopped; You can not rob other people during the event, obviously.
  10. It is neither side's interest that the truck is blown, and there's only recklessness to blame once it happens. It has ended like that again due collateral damage [in what I believe was the best chance criminals had in ages, cops were completely wrecked and with a little more care the truck would've been taken]. Best luck next time, and I hope everyone enjoyed despite technical issues we faced.
  11. Soon, any mom and pop will think they can sell gallo here...

  13. Previous event videos, to those not familiarized with the format:
  14. It is Christmas season, and that also means there's a handful events planned for this month! This is the third one of them - A thrilling moment in where the SAPD attempts to load off it's drug stashes collected throughout the year. There's just one problem: the criminals also seem to be interested... EVENT INFORMATION The Drug Transport is a planned escort by the SAPD, in where drug stashes are collected in a series of police precincts, with the intent they're destroyed in the end. The criminals are allowed to attempt to steal this stash. A Securicar, driven by a lazy, poorly paid mexican driver who would let the truck go at first risk and heavily escorted by police forces will stop in selected police stations to collect the drug stash which was long seized from the streets, in order to destroy it at the end, at Ocean Docks. During this course, anyone may attempt to steal the truck and seize the drugs to themselves - however, bear in mind the truck will be heavily escorted. Every action has a consequence, and it's likely you will match a strong response from police forces, thus, likely requiring you might need help in this task... WHEN AND WHERE? DATE: December 19th [saturday] TIME: 18:00 [real /time] HOW TO WIN? The cops escorting the truck will win the event if the Securicar sucessfully makes it to Ocean Docks and the drugs are destroyed. The criminals (only the ones who steal the truck, remember) will win the event if they manage to steal the truck and drive it away from police sight. There is no winners if the truck is destroyed. No side is allowed to purposefully damage the truck under these terms, or else banishments will be issued for ruining the event. EVENT GUIDELINES The following is the path the truck will necessairly follow and the actions it'll perform in each of these stops: LSPD -> Angel Pine PD -> SFPD -> LVPD -> Ocean Docks LSPD The truck will be EMPTY, heading to Angel Pine's PD. The truck is not able to be taken at this point yet. It's empty. APPD The truck will load HALF of the drugs [25 kgs of Meth] and head to San Fierro's PD. It will take 3 minutes to load the drugs. SFPD The truck will load other HALF of the drugs [25 kgs of Meth] and head to Las Venturas' PD. It will take 3 minutes to load the drugs. At this point, the truck is fully loaded. LVPD The truck will stop for 3 minutes so the Statistics Bureau of the SAPD can account in the retrieved stashes from the PDs. It will then head to it's final destination, Ocean Docks, fully loaded. Ocean Docks The truck will arrive to the depot and the cops will start unloading the drugs in order to burn them. That will take 3 minutes. HOW TO STEAL THE TRUCK? The truck driver will not pose any threat - at the moment a criminal approaches attempting to steal the truck [aim at the driver, for example], he will let the wheel go. THE CRIMINALS WIN IF... They manage to steal the truck and get it out from the cops' radar sight. At this part, they're obviously allowed to guard and escort their truck, trying to neutralize police attempts to re-take it. If these conditions are met, the one driving the truck gets the drugs. THE COPS WIN IF... They complete the entire path to Ocean Docks and safely dump the drugs - in this case, the drugs will be lost and each cop will get a large share bonus of the sucessful operation (in $$$). THE TRUCK WILL BE LOST AND THERE'S NO WINNERS IF... The truck is destroyed. No side is allowed to purposefully damage the truck under these terms, or else banishments will be issued for ruining the event. Just as the criminals can use of tactics and planning to steal the truck, so can the cops in order to guard it - It requires some significant effort from both sides to figure out the bigger picture and plan every move. No updates will be given to the server about the truck's whereabout. Criminals will have to be smart to track the truck's moves or have cops on their payroll. PRIZES CRIMINALS 50kgs of Meth [25kgs if stolen before the truck reaches SFPD], if sucessfully meeting the conditions listed in the topic to win the event. The stash will be awarded to the truck driver, who may share it with his friends, or if performed the raid alone, he'll earn it all alone. COPS Awarded a bonus paycheck of $250.000 each for the sucessful operation, if the police successfully takes the truck all the way to Ocean Docks and burns the drugs. There is no winner if the truck blows up. RULES PRE-EVENT Either side is allowed to invite "outsiders" to the server for the event. This variable is not controllable at all, hence we shall instead just allow it to everyone. Official criminal groups will be given one IED and one M4 to each participant promised to attend the event. Group leaders should publish in this topic their group name and the amount of members they expect to participate in the event to demonstrate interest. Overinflating numbers that do not match with the actual no. of people showing up in the server in event day will result in group points penalty afterwards. Unofficial criminal groups will be funded with light weaponry cases to each participant promised to attend the event. Group leaders should publish in this topic their group name and the amount of members they expect to participate in the event to demonstrate interest. Overinflating numbers that do not match with the actual no. of people showing up in the server in event day will result in group points penalty afterwards. SAPD is allowed to acquire additional vehicles for the event in a reasonable basis [not making everyone drive bunkers, for example]. EVENT Criminals may attempt to steal the truck from the point the truck leaves Angel Pine PD, and not before. However, keep in mind if you steal it in the Angel Pine - San Fierro path, you'll only get half of the drugs, as the truck will be fully loaded only after it departs from SFPD. Criminals can work together to steal the truck - they are also allowed to sabotage eachother; Keep in mind - the truck will be HEAVILY guarded by a police escort; Regarding deathmatch: shooting in the event without prior warning will be allowed, as long as it's related to the purpose of the event. This is done so obviously criminals are given a wider range of resources to ambush the cops, and as well the cops are allowed to answer proportionally (bearing to their PD regulations, of course) - deathmatching [shooting without a proper reason] is and always will be punishable.
  15. Due to a general lack of interest in the proposal, we have decided to cancel this event. We will realocate these points to organize another event. Stay tuned!
  16. Bumping this topic - does anyone have concerns about this event? If none are said, then I will decide the rules myself and they will not be reverted. Now's the chance.
  17. Before anything, I am already revealing to you we have zeroed your wealth. Despite being your first ban, you have caused enough trouble by consciously spreading a shitload cash you earned from a bug you did not bother to report at first to multiple people. 1) Didn't you asked yourself something could be wrong when you spawned in a different virtual world [you knew it, since you requested support], found a property there and decided to buy it, thus gaining an irreal amount of cash? 2) Worse, you not only didn't think something could be wrong, but decided that the best idea was to spread around the cash you earned from an exploit? Did you really thought it was your lucky day? I am glad you're admitting it at first, because you had no other choice anyway.
  18. Did you read what is written in the quote you mentioned? It's beyond player level: I need to spend time to determine wether it's a legit new player or someone who has joined solely for the event. This distinction might be fairly easy for some cases, not for others. It requires a time I will not have, since I host this event alone. The concern is not finding how many hours someone has played, or what level he is - staff has a handful set of tools for that.
  19. As most players in this community have participated, or are at least somewhat familiar with the format of the event predicted for December 19 – the drug transport -, I have decided to come and debate some concerns I have about the ways this event develops and if we could reach consensus about some issues that I will highlight below. # People who are not regulars in this server joining the event I do particularly understand the frustration that is a regular, committed player in this server [or at least somewhat participant in the community, despite not very active ingame, which is also okay] see dozens of new players from elsewhere flock in the server in the event day simply because it’s the event everyone’s waiting for, it’s fun, everyone gets to shoot a bit, it requires tactics, skills and whatever else. My personal opinion is that this should not be allowed, and this is unfair to those who are regulars in this server, to see players join the server only for the event to never return – it happened in the last drug transport. One of the excuses used was that “these new players might actually like the server and stay”. Bullshit, none did. And even if someone did, the burden and frustration that is non-regular players take the spotlight over an event that is destined to entertain to the players of our community, those who dedicate their time regularly to play this server, is bigger than the eventual benefit it’d be to have at least someone remain regular in this risk-benefit ratio. My main problem with this is that I am only one person, and I can not control the entire event alone – most of staff is involved in either side during the event and also deserve some fun. Should I reckon that in the last drug transport I hosted, the server beat the record for simultaneous no. of players online [228/250]. I do not have the time to carefully review player by player, spot those non-regulars who’re apparently engaging in the event just for the event itself and remove them from the server – that would be arbitrary at most. Hence the lack of capability to oversee, I have end up allowing this in the last event. Groups do not have to sign up for this event and I will not do that, simply because this is out of reach to look for, and it's an open event done in an uncontrollable environment. Do the people have any suggestion on how we could combat this issue, or you believe we should allow outsiders in the server that day? # Perks for the participants? In the last drug transport, PD was allowed to spawn in some extra armored vehicles which they could not use against the criminals – only serve as shield for the police forces. I have also refunded criminal groups who shown interest and have messaged me about it, understanding criminals have much more to lose than cops, since they spend money in their equipment. For the upcoming drug transport event, I had the following in mind: - Allow official [criminal] groups who demonstrate interest in participating in the event to gain access to a small set of weapons and equipment. If they’d need/want more than what they’ll receive, they’ll have to buy it. - Allow unofficial [criminal] groups who promise to bring at least an X number of members to the event to gain access to a low-tier set of weapons. If they’d need/want more than what they’ll receive, they’ll have to buy it. - Allow the police forces to temporarily acquire extra vehicles for the event, considering overwhelming criminal presence. Is this fair for both sides? Incentives should be given or not given? # Unlisted concerns? I am sure there might be something else I wanted to talk about but can not remember right now. Once I remember, i'll bring it foward here. Topic is open for debate, suggestions, complaints, concerns and so on. Objective is to make the fairest and most enjoyable event possible.
  20. In the same day, but one hour earlier - don't miss the Christmas auction!
  21. It is Christmas season, and that also means there's a handful events planned for this month! This is the second one of them - A Forklift-only race from the south to the north of San Andreas, with one of the sluggish vehicles in the game, which will require an outstanding driving performance from the contestors! EVENT INFORMATION Forklift Grand Racing is a race where competitors will use Forklifts to battle each other from the race start, at Los Santos International, to the finish, at the Big Pecker [the giant chicken] in Las Payasadas. WHEN AND WHERE? DATE: December 12th [saturday] TIME: 18:00 [real /time] STARTING LINE: Los Santos International Airport FINISH LINE: Big Pecker [the giant chicken], Las Payasadas, Bone County - ram/bump it once with your Forklift once you finish. HOW TO WIN? The first one to reach the finish line [Big Pecker, at Las Payasadas] with his Forklift will win the race. PRIZES FIRST PLACE: 40 donor points [equals a 6-month donator package] SECOND PLACE: $1.000.000 THIRD PLACE: $500.000 RULES Obviously, Forklifts only. You do not have to bring your own, in case you own one - we will provide Forklifts to everyone who wishes to participate. If your Forklift is damaged beyond repair [you can't restart the engine], you're out of the race. The race has to be entirely completed in a Forklift. Staff members will closely watch competitors, and there's also log checks at disposal. You can not switch Forklifts during the race [get a new one or try to steal one from another competitor]. There is no specific path that competitors must follow - you have the freedom to choose your own ways in whatever you believe it's the fastest to the finish line. In this very specific race, competitors are allowed to ram each other - however, I am not sure if that's a great idea, since the Forklift's handling usually leaves people in terrible positions.
  22. THE PROPOSAL With our interior furniture system, we have definitely seen a lot of creative interiors throughout the time in this server. This time, we decided it's time to give a reason to this creativity: a thematic decoration contest for Christmas. The idea is to have players decorate their property's interior with a Christmas-themed fashion. The best looking one will be awarded a nice prize. Submissions are accepted from the moment this topic is published till December 22nd. Winner will be announced in Christmas Eve, December 24th! HOW DO I PARTICIPATE? You can participate by posting pictures of your property's interior in this topic [unlimited number of pictures, but if there's many, please make sure there's one or two visible in the post and the rest in spoiler - you can also use an Imgur album]. The post has to contain your in-game name, the property address [the one that shows when you go to your property's icon] and at least one picture of the decorated interior in your property. You may only submit one property [and it's respective interior]. After you submitted, you can not change it, or apply another property instead - so make sure when you submit, it's decorated with furniture to the best of your skills! You may submit in this topic till December 22nd, 00:00. After that, our administration team will vote for the best looking interior. The winner will be announced in Christmas Eve, December 24th. Good luck! RULES One property per person; Once you make a submission, you can not change the interior, or change the submitted property, under penalty of being excluded from the contest; The post must contain your in-game name, your property address and at least one picture of the interior [unlimited, but if there's many pictures, please make your post user-friendly by adding the rest in spoiler or Imgur album]. Decoration must be Christmas-themed, obviously, or either your winning chances will be close to zero. PRIZE WINNER will earn 40 donor points [equal to a 6-month donator package] and $1.000.000. ...
  23. It is Christmas season, and that also means there's a handful events planned for this month! This is the first one of them - A car show hosted by Pepe Santos, a traditional auto specialist and enthusiast in San Andreas. EVENT INFORMATION Pepe's Car Show is an hybrid of server and roleplay event in where players can show off their tuned, modified vehicles, and be judged by Pepe Santos & his helpers. WHEN AND WHERE? DATE: December 5th [saturday] TIME: 17:00 [real /time] LOCATION: Los Santos International Airport HOW TO WIN? The vehicle judged as the best-looking one, with the best tricks and the most original story behind it will win the event. PRIZES FIRST PLACE: 40 donor points [equals a 6-month donator package] SECOND PLACE: $1.000.000 THIRD PLACE: $500.000 RULES All vehicle models will be allowed. It has to be a motor vehicle [no bikes, motorbikes, planes, boats, Vortex or anything other than a car].
