The kick off (2021 era) ⬎ Ⅰ | 2021: The journey started on May twenty-first, 2021, he got accepted into the police academy by the formal deputy chief. His academy period was kept short though since he made quick progress thru its process and got his diploma on May twenty-ninth, 2021. While he was being evaluated he worked together with a fellow officer to bring a new division into the department, together with Elias Knight they formed CSI. Together they dedicated a lot of time to the department, but it also demotivated him - since no changes were being made. He decided to take a break and come back later. ⅠⅠ | 2021: Ammy L. Davis had a big impact on his career as well since she motivated him to join the department and bring an end to the academy to become a police officer. They formed a trio together with Bailey Davis who at the time being was a volunteer in the department. All three of them dedicated a lot of time to the department, but after years of work, Ed decided to fill in his resignation and take a break from the department - since he was struggling with his life and mental health outside his work. ⬐ Changes (2022 era) Ⅰ | 2022: March twenty-eight, 2022. He's been noticed wearing his volunteer uniform again, and yes indeed he was trying to get back. After some days he didn't hesitate to reinstate and got accepted as Police Officer I back in the department. This didn't take long though, after showing how much dedication and discipline he has for the department he got awarded for it. Now in the present future, he's still going strong trying his best for the department and everyone. He has a vision of what he wants and will forever pursue it. ⅠⅠ | 2022: He has shown his dedication to the department and has reserved himself a spot in the supervisory. He has not made any plans yet to leave the department once again or something heading that way. He's assured that he'll stay here until he is ready for retirement. Although - it's been told that it might take some time before that happens. For now, he's helping out the newcomers that were just like him a year ago and assuring that the field staff is performing well. He's committed to making the working field and the department itself a much better place. Quote by Ed C. Davis himself: "I have few accomplishments that have to be completed ever before I'll retire. I will make sure that it will happen." He's prepared to give it all to achieve that. He has created a name for himself within the department already. He's never been a /strict/ officer - that's what makes him unique from the rest, he's just doing his job and focusing on himself - would be great if others did too. ⅠⅠⅠ | 2022: His main purpose to rejoin the force was the tactical team within the department. He always thought that it was the best thing to exist. He has been operating under a different command before, but the team he's with now is stronger than ever. They've been training together non-stop to improve their work on operations. The team has been doing so good it had a zero-percent chance of failed operations back in May 2022. To get the criminal activities under control they've been executing multiple warrants all over the state to fight the crime. He'll never leave the team behind since he will forever love this job. He hopes to succeed within the division so in the future he'll be able to train other cadets. The team's chemistry is insane - everyone is worked in on each other and they know exactly what to expect from each other. He thinks that chemistry like this is hard to maintain in hard situations, but /this/ team... can handle it. Ⅳ | 2022: On June 18th a state-wide operation was held. A drug transport was hosted and ready for transport - one of his duties was to take the wheel on an offensive vehicle but that went downhill when one of the Team Leaders decided to leave it all and left it up to others. Operator Ed C. Davis and Team Leader John Cancer decided to take over and managed to come up with a last-second plan. They arranged the units and both of them deployed an enforcer to get dominance on the road. After long hours of fighting counters, they managed to get hold of the shipment and were able to deliver it to its point. They will forever praise this trophy which they achieved together. This shows that their teamwork and chemistry unstoppable is. John was able to get the team back and celebrated with every single operator who was part of the operation, also gave every one of them an reward. Ⅴ | 2022: After focusing for a long time on the department and the S.W.A.T. division, he was finally assigned to the command staff of the team. Together with his partner, they managed to get the team back on its feet after a slight tumble. Former S.W.A.T. Commander, who was put as an acting Commander due to the actual Commander being absent. He got fired and blacklisted from the department. Which made the command staff question. Although that happened they took the matter into their hands and put the team back on stable feet, in the meantime, a familiar face made a return to the department and helped out the division. But on the 28th of august 2022, Ed C. Davis got promoted to Police Lieutenant and assigned as S.O.B. Commanding Officer. This means a lot since he was always dreaming of leading the bureau and it finally happened. Now his journey continues as a Lieutenant and a Commander himself. Stepping up (2023 era) ⬎ Ⅰ | 2023: After a leave of absence due to some personal matters, he returned back to the department on the fourth of Februari, 2023. He orignally was going to take place of the Ex. Chief of Police Zac Hernandez, but due to him leaving he left the position vacant for his partner Jeremy Hoover. So once he returned to the state he got the position of Deputy Chief of Police, entering the Executive Staff office. They've made drastic changes to the department together, creating an amazing work environment. There is no sign of withdrawal after his return, he has regained his motivation to serve the department once again as a Deputy Chief of Police, and after all the years of active service he has created himself a name within the department. ⅠⅠ | 2023: June 13th, 2023. He was congratulated by his staff for reaching the position of the Chief of Police. He has come a long way to reach this position and on his way, he surpassed many challenges and completed many goals he wanted to achieve. He will continue to serve the state and will maintain to develop the department. His father left before he was born which made it hard for him in his childhood. Although his parent tried having contact with him later in his teenage years he decided to cut it all and let it all vanish. He tried moving on from his past but it always hunted him. Now he's recovering from his traumas and is trying to improve himself as a person. Thanks to his relatives he found a way to relieve himself from the stress and hurt that has been caused to him.
